Founders of eco-activism charity, 5 Gyres, they explained the perils of ocean-borne microplastics being ingested by sea life and thereafter - even being ingested by us. Since then he’s been instrumental in the campaign for a ban on microbeads in the UK, as well as working with charities WWF and Greenpeace.
